From the 14th to the 19th of January, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week will take place, a global platform whose objective is to accelerate the sustainable development of the world. Held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, the event brings together investors, industrial players, businessmen and authorities for trade exchanges and debates about the future, in a program divided into three principles: Global Collaboration & Leadership, Economic Development and Technology & Innovation.

Carlos Martins, CEO of BlockC and director of AirCarbon Brasil, will be present at ADSW (Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week). The moment of the trip to the United Arab Emirates is one of optimism, after the investment made by the sovereign fund of the government of Abu Dhabi – Mubadala – in AirCarbon Brasil, the first Brazilian exchange of carbon credits and a partner of BlockC.

In a country where oil and gas play a prominent role in the economy, BlockC has the opportunity to present ways to reduce and neutralize carbon emissions. For Melissa Sawaya Hirschheimer, from BlockC's Business & Customer Success area, ADSW also represents the possibility of contributing to a world Net Zero: “The solutions offered by BlockC add high value to the sectors hard-to-slaughter. We look forward to gaining new partners interested in implementing our common emissions-neutral future.”
